Every Romper has as story....

I almost lost this Romper before I even got to wear it!  I went to Vegas for a Bachelorette party and of course we had to make a stop at Anthropologie.  I was so excited I found this Romper along with other stuff.  After shopping, we stopped by one of those outdoor bar for drinks.  I don't know if it was the drink or what...but when we left the bar, I left my Anthro bag underneath our table out in the open for anyone to just take away with them.  After walking around for 15mins, I realized what happened...so we rushed back to the bar.  I was so stressed...all I can think of was someone else will be wearing my romper.  By the time we got back to the Bar, the ladies sitting two tables away from us earlier was still there and said they saw my bag and turned it in to the Bartender.  I was so relieved...there are Good Samaritans out there....even in Las Vegas.   My Romper went home with me safe and sound.

Box it Up

I went back and forth several times on whether or not to buy this Anthropologie Jacket.  I loved how it was double breasted and it had gold buttons...but it was just so boxy when i tried it on and the shoulder pads was a little intense.  Then the best thing happened...it went on 3rd mark down and they just happen to have my size.  Was this a sign?  Was it meant to be?  At that moment, I decided ok at $30, shoot...who cares if its boxy...make it work.   I took it home and after seeing it with other items in my closet, I was happy with it.  I paired it up today with a bright tunic top and it works I think.  It's still boxy but the soft tunic top softens it up a bit.

Stripes and Polka Dots

This is my go to dress for traveling usually.  It's so comfortable to wear while sitting in a plane for 15hrs.  I paired it with a black jacket and a subtle metallic polka dot scarf.  I'm all about neutrals these days.....whats up with that...

I've been super busy at work yet I still registered for an all day class today...now I'm a whole day behind at work.  Why do I do this?  Since I've been so busy, I haven't had much time to think about what to wear....I just grabbed this old Deletta brown summer dress from Anthro.  Since its still a bit chilly out there and it has spaghetti straps, I paired it with a long comfy cardigan and belted it!.... now it looks work appropriate and put together.  This sweater is so soft by the way....!

Is it Summer Yet?

It continues to be unusually cold and rainy here in CA.  I should be wearing sandals and dresses by now.  Here I am still wearing a scarf, tights and a turtle neck.  It's  cool though because sun finally came out by the end of the day.  I love that I was able to wear my new skirt though....it was only $20 at Anthro!

My Favorites - Anthropologie

This is my first post.  I thought it would be most appropriate to share one of my favorite places to shop.  I don't normally take photos in front of the stores but hey I was on vacay so why not.  This is me in front Anthropologie...one of my favorite stores ever!  I'm wearing head to toe Anthro.  The shoes are by Sam Edelman but they were sold at Anthro also at one point.  Love this Store...one of my favorites.  You will be seeing me in Anthro clothes a lot!
